2025年6月3日，“环境新闻茶座·武汉行”六五环境日武汉市主场宣传活动在中碳登大厦成功举办，活动由生态环境部长江流域生态环境监督管理局、中国环境新闻工作者协会、武汉市生态环境局及武昌区人民政府联合主办。省生态环境厅、团省委及市人大城环委、市政协人资环委、市委宣传部、市委社工部、市文联、团市委、市纪委派驻市政协机关纪检监察组等单位参加，来自媒体、机关、企业、高校、社区及社会组织的百余名代表参与活动。

中国环境新闻工作者协会主席刘友宾，生态环境部长江流域生态环境监督管理局二级巡视员张九红，武汉市生态环境局党组书记、局长张朝辉等出席活动，共同启动长江生态环保青年宣讲活动。

近年来，在习近平生态文明思想的指引下，武汉市坚持以人民为中心，以增强人民群众绿色获得感和生态幸福感为己任，推动生态环境质量持续改善，美丽武汉魅力日益彰显。武汉市生态环境局二级巡视员张作波在致辞时号召，“让我们共同出发，以‘绿’促新，以‘绿’创新，为奋力谱写美丽中国建设湖北篇章、加快建成中部地区崛起重要战略支点贡献武汉生态环境力量！”

中国环境新闻工作者协会主席刘友宾在致辞时讲，“环境宣传是环保事业的重要组成部分，新闻舆论在生态文明建设中具有重要地位和作用，生态文明是全社会共同参与共同建设共同享有的事业。”他表示，“恰逢中国环境新闻工作者协会成立38周年，几代环境新闻工作者怀抱新闻理想，肩负环保使命，是我国生态环境保护事业的重要见证者、参与者和贡献者。我们将更加紧密地团结、服务广大环境新闻工作者，促进环境报道高质量发展，为全面推进美丽中国建设贡献媒体力量。”

《“聚焦美丽中国”环境新闻2012-2024》新书在现场首发。该书由中国环境新闻工作者协会整理汇编，中国环境出版集团出版发行。

“为深入贯彻习近平生态文明思想，全面展示我国在应对气候变化领域的实践成果与创新经验。今年，中国环境记协启动应对气候变化传播案例征集活动”，中国环境新闻工作者协会应对气候变化专委会负责人、武汉双碳产业研究院执行院长阎忠宁现场介绍案例推选情况并发布入选案例。

活动中，来自媒体、机关、企业、高校、社区、社会组织等不同行业的15位代表分别围绕美丽武汉建设进行了经验分享和探讨。
如何“守正创新讲好应对气候变化故事”？南方周末报社编委曹海东以年轻态、故事性、解释性、视频化、产品化、国际化六个关键词分享了绿色新闻探索的经验。21世纪经济报道碳中和与ESG新闻部主编李德尚玉则从守正、创新两大方面讲述了如何讲好应对气候变化的故事。长江日报城建事业部绿色发展中主任记者金文兵结合新闻记者在应对气候变化中担任的角色，从好新闻的发现者、勇于任事的合作者、好资源的整合者谈了探索体会。

本次活动创新采用碳中和形式举办，通过中碳登集中注销活动产生的二氧化碳排放量对应的全国碳配额，充分体现了绿色办活动理念。

当天，武汉市20家环保设施正集中向全社会开放，“美丽中国建设离不开每一个人的努力”，来自环境保护、社区治理、志愿服务一线的众多代表汇聚在一起，用自己的故事号召全社会一起行动起来，参与美丽武汉建设。
