夏日的首钢园，暑气蒸腾却挡不住游客的热情，石景山分局新古城派出所民警王克义擦了把汗，却仍快步走向一对迷茫张望的行人：“您是想找‘大跳台’吧？沿这条路直走，看到群明湖左转，灯光最亮的地方就是！”

晚上十点多，房山分局窦店派出所值班室突然接到了辖区王女士的求助电话。

正在附近巡逻的民警王仲森、辅警鲁建刚赶到现场。原来，王女士家空调室外机冷凝水流到邻居家墙根，引发了邻居的不满，两人便产生了口角。

民警先是安抚住情绪激动的两家住户，“大哥大姐先停一停，大半夜的，又是大热天，咱们慢慢说，总能想出辙。”

等两人情绪稍稍平复，王仲森蹲在空调外机旁仔细查看空调外机的位置，“大姐，要是信得过我们，咱们把冷凝水管接长点？”经得王女士同意之后，在保证公共安全的基础上，王仲森将空调冷凝水管向外延长了一些。

“真是不好意思，大半夜还麻烦你们跑一趟。”看着民警跑前跑后，王女士也有点过意不去。王仲森抹了把汗笑着回应道，“远亲不如近邻，没必要因为点小事闹矛盾，办法总比困难多。”楼道里的火药味渐渐被夏夜的晚风冲淡，只剩下邻里间和解的笑声飘向夜空。

凌晨三点，城市正笼罩在深沉的夜色中，东城区居民公寓楼外，一个身影正摇摇欲坠地坐在窗台边缘。

“有人要跳楼！”接到报警电话后的东城分局体育馆路派出所民警张悦闻讯赶到现场，看到当时的情景，张悦的心也揪了一下，多一分耽误就多一分危险，连安全绳都顾不上系，张悦就一个箭步翻出狭窄的窗台，仅凭双手死死攥紧窗框，整个身子在风中悬于半空。

“同志，有什么事情回去慢慢再说，你拉住我的手”。张悦的手臂因为用力而青筋暴起却始终伸向女子，时间一分一秒过去，随着民警的一句句安慰，女士终于冷静了下来，她回头握住了民警伸出的手，在生死边缘徘徊的意识终于被拉回了现实。

当两人终于回到安全地带，张悦的制服早已被汗水浸透，此时，警灯闪烁的光芒映射在墙上，照亮了他勒得发白却未曾松开的手掌。

晚上22 时，正赶上演唱会散场时间，大量的人流瞬间汇集在道路上，交管局朝阳交通支队亚运村大队民警米洋、李毅杰正在现场执勤，就在这时，人群中突然传来求助的声音，循着声音过去，只见一名男士突然在路边晕倒。

在现场志愿者的帮助下，米洋、李毅杰将晕倒的男士扶到附近的通风处，同时在旁边疏导交通，得知男士可能是因为夏季炎热中暑了，待男士逐渐恢复意识，二人又找来冰矿泉水为其降暑，同时拨打120急救电话，并在其身边等候救护车到来。

经过医护人员的检查，确认男士的身体无大碍后，民警也松了一口气。

“警察同志，医院在哪啊，我的小孙子发烧了，这可怎么办啊。”

正在巡逻的丰台分局卢沟桥派出所民警杨梦妮被老人拦住，原来是老人五个月大的小孙子发了烧，正在小区门口焦急踱步，“我刚来这边，孩子爸妈在外一时赶不回来，我孙子烧了半天了，这可怎么办啊”边说着，老太太额头冒出豆大的汗。

看着怀里孩子小脸通红，民警急忙带着孩子驱车往医院奔去，到医院后，挂号、排队、开药，一番忙活。好在抢救及时，孩子的烧很快退了下来，老人悬着的心也放了下来

时隔两日，杨梦妮和同事又路过小区，老人看到杨梦妮，远远得便抱着小孙子迎了上来“警察同志！那天真是太谢谢了，要不是您带我去医院我真不知道怎么办才好了...”

“阿姨，您别客气，这都是我们应该做的，以后有什么难处您随时找我们！”

三伏天的夏夜闷热无比，但杨梦妮觉得一切都值得。
